  1. French Space Operations Act: Very positive results for CNES

    Six years after the French Space Operations Act (FSOA) came into effect, CNES brought together space stakeholders today to analyse its impacts in light of the latest evolutions in orbital systems and launchers. Drafted on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research, the FSOA was adopted on 3 June 2008. Today’s review found that actions since undertaken by CNES have achieved very good results.

  2. Soyuz successfully orbits Microscope, Sentinel-1B and Fly Your Satellite! from Guiana Space Centre

    Monday 25 April, the Soyuz launcher accomplished its 14th successful flight from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, orbiting Microscope for CNES, Sentinel-1B for the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Union, and Fly Your Satellite! for ESA.

  3. Next Ariane 5 mission set to orbit- ARABSAT-6B and GSAT-15 satellites

    Tuesday 10 November, Ariane 5 will lift off from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, to place two new telecommunications satellites into orbit: ARABSAT-6B for the operator Arabsat and GSAT-15 for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It will be Ariane 5’s sixth launch this year and its 83rd flight in all.
