This "missing link" just got discovered by an international team led by investigators of the Centre for the Study of Radiation in Space of Toulouse. This world-first discovery was achieved thanks to observations of ESA's XMM-NEWTON satellite. This result was announced in the July 2nd, 2009 issue of Nature.
