Tuesday 7 November, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall took part in the Informal Space Ministerial Meeting in Tallinn, Estonia, devoted to the future of the Copernicus programme and in particular satellite data policy and competitiveness and innovation to spur development of Europe’s space sector. Urve Palo, Estonia’s Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology, chaired the meeting at which Begoña Cristeto Blasco, Spain’s General Secretary of Industry and SMEs, and Elzbieta Bienkowska, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, were present.

CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall was at the 9th Conference on European Space Policy taking place in Brussels on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 January, focused this year on the theme “Space Strategy for Europe: the road ahead”.
