  3. Toulouse Space Show Fifth edition attracts record attendance

    CNES, the Occitanie regional council, Toulouse Métropole, the Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Madeeli, the regional agency for economic development, export and innovation, backed by the European Commission, today officially opened the fifth edition of the Toulouse Space Show, at which India is guest of honour. This year’s event, running from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 June at the Pierre Baudis Congress Centre, is resolutely focused on innovation, international cooperation and game-changing technologies.

    At the Toulouse Space Show, where India is guest of honour, CNES signed an agreement with Indian firm Axiom Research Labs to contribute to the Team Indus mission that is set to land a module and rover on the Moon in 2017. France will supply latest-generation CMOS micro-cameras developed in partnership with French firm 3DPlus.

  7. France-India space cooperation- CNES and ISRO sign agreement to establish maritime surveillance centre in India

    Wednesday 6 March in Bangalore, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and Sivan K, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), signed an agreement to implement the short-term plan for the French-Indian programme to develop a maritime surveillance system. This signature follows on from the broader agreement signed last March during President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to India.

    Thursday 6 October, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and AS Kiran Kumar, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), signed at CNES’s Head Office in Paris a four-year extension of the French-Indian Megha-Tropiques climate-monitoring satellite mission that has already delivered exceptional results for research and operational applications since its launch five years ago.
