  2. CNES and UKSA join forces to curb climate change

    The UK Space Agency and their French counterparts, CNES, have reached a ground-breaking new agreement to work together to tackle climate change. UKSA’s Director of Growth, Catherine Mealing-Jones, and CNES President, Jean-Yves Le Gall, signed the MicroCarb cooperation agreement this morning (19th April) at the French Ambassador’s Residence in London, witnessed by Jo Johnson, the Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation, and France’s Ambassador to the UK, Sylvie Bermann.

  4. ‘Nuit des Idées’ in London Thomas Pesquet guest of honour alongside CNES

    Thursday 25 January, for the Nuit des Idées event at the Institut français in London, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall took part in a panel session on the theme of ‘Sharing Space – Brave New Worlds’ alongside astronauts Thomas Pesquet and Timothy Peake, and Graham Turnock, Chief Executive of the United Kingdom Space Agency (UKSA).
