    The European Columbus laboratory will have to wait at least 1 more month before launching to the ISS. Sunday 9 December, a persistent malfunction of a sensor in the external fuel tank of the space shuttle Atlantis forced STS-122 mission managers to postpone the launch for a 4th time.   2. EPM on Columbus working like a charm

    The human physiology experiment module on the Columbus orbital laboratory was successfully activated Saturday by Léopold Eyharts. This is good news for the CADMOS facility in Toulouse, which is monitoring the module.
