  6. Space hydrology: brace yoursleves, data is coming

    An international research team just published the very first database mapping our planet’s humid areas and their evolution over time, from 1993 to 2007, with a 90 m resolution. Data will be extended to cover up to 2017 and prepare for the enormous amount of data from the revolutionary SWOT hydrology satellite.
