    CNES’s space telescope recently detected the transit of a temperate Jupiter-sized exoplanet 1,500 light-years from Earth. This discovery will teach us more about similar types of planet.

    An international team made up of some 50 researchers works on the analysis of CoRoT’s observations on a daily basis. This team announced last month the discovery of six new exoplanets and one brown dwarf.
