ENF CFD modeling engineer

Description

Attached hierarchically to the Sub-Directorate for Protection, Safety and the Environment, the environment and ground safety department is in charge of the safety of people, property and the environment during specimen tests and phases of preparation and launch of spacecraft operated from the CSG. CFD modeling engineer CG /SDP/ES Description of the job posting The CFD modeling engineer (computational fluid dynamics) has the following missions : - Implement and develop safety tools for assessing the toxic effects associated with solid rocket motor bench tests and launches in nominal and accident situations (major accidents) using CFD codes for the resolution of fluid mechanics - Contribute to the technical activities related to the CNES / CSG safety coordination mission by analyzing the consistency of the tools and the results of the evaluation of the accidental effects related to major accidents in the danger studies of CSG industrial plants, - Propose the necessary evolutions of methods and tools for modeling and calculation of the environment and safety department, Main internal contacts : The engineers of the environment and ground safety department Main external contacts : Environment and safety officers of CSG industrial plants

Desired profile

Profile (Training, experiences, qualifications required) Engineer or university equivalent with a specialization in computational fluid dynamics Beginner or first experience in CFD modeling Master of a CFD code, ideally FLUENT (ANSYS) and EDF-SATURN Languages: French level B1 minimum
